Hanna

Quite an action movie about a girl genetically bred to be strong but the project was abandoned later. The storyline doesn't quite make sense but hell, just watch the action anyway. The ending part where Hanna manage to shoot the arrow without the bow is a bit illogical. Rating 7/10.

Sniper reloaded

Just another ordinary action movie, predictable storyline, the duel with the sniper in the end isn't really impressive enough but still watchable. Rating is 6/10.

Monsters

Thought this is supposed to be an action movie, turn out in the end more like a romantic movie with ending, hardly any gun shot, just some misadventure of an accidental couple and their journey back to their home country. Rating is 5/10.

The Veteran

Boring movie about an ex-paratrooper trying to make a new life and end up attached to a private anti-terrorist firm. Not much of action at the beginning, predictable storyline with intense shooting towards the end. The ending was funny as the hero was killed in the end by a small kid. Rating is 6/10.

The crazies

Not sure if this qualify as a zombie movie as it's about the water supply in a small town being tainted with some experimental military chemical, resulting to the residents there becoming crazy and killing each other, hence, they are called the crazies. The actions are quite average and only a few gory or brutal scenes. The only impressive thing is the nuclear explosion in the end but quite watcheable. I'll rate this at 7/10.

Kick Ass

Story about a former police officer looking for revenge after he was framed for some crime. Together with his trained-to-kill very young daughter, both of them seek to sabotage the operation of an organised gang. If you are bored with the ordinary action movies, this one will provide a good alternative as most of the action is done by the young girl, the killings done by her are quite brutal as well. There is also another teenage trying to be a superhero but didn't quite make it which will provide the humour in this movie. I'll rate this at 7/10.

Children of men

This movie is set in the future, year 2027 to be exact, where the whole world is in turmoil and UK is the favourite country for refugees. Hence, the UK government is going all out to stamp out illegal immigrants. Due to some condition, everyone in this world is no longer able to make babies and suddenly, there is one refugee in UK found pregnant. The hero in this movie is supposed to protect the pregnant refugee from both the authorities and opportunists trying to make a quick buck from the baby. This movie is not really action packed but each of the action scenes are realistically made and not of typical Hollywood style. I'll rate this at 7/10.
